The Strand Hotel which commands a prominent position on the
seafront in Bray and is within walking distance from the
town centre has been in the Fitzsimons family since 1978.
Priding themselves on the personal, friendly service, the
Hotel has an "olde world" feel (but with modern facilities)
and you will receive a warm welcome on your arrival. For
your convenience, there is ample free car-parking available.
The Hotel which was built circa 1850’s was originally named
Elsnore and was owned by Sir William Wilde (father of Oscar
Wilde, the famous Irish playwright).
Accomodation
The hotel is opened for accomodation from May to September,
but bookings may be accepted outside this period for special
occasions. The rooms offer panoramic views of the promenade,
sea, and Bray Head.
Carvery Lunches
Genuine home prepared and cooked food is available daily.
The menu varies each day and customer requests can be
facilitated if advance notice is given.
Function Room
Complementary facilities are available for meetings,
christenings, parties etc. Food can be supplied at
